Career
Thomas Laffargue began his career as an associate in the Public Business Law department of a leading French law firm before taking part in the creation of Earth Avocats, where he specialised in the transport and energy sectors. In 2025, he joined Ydès to further develop the firm’s Public Business Law practice.
On a daily basis, Thomas advises and represents clients in both advisory and contentious matters, focusing in particular on contractual and regulatory issues in the transport and energy sectors.
His clients include major public and private groups, national public institutions, local authorities, local public enterprises, as well as regional airports and ports.
Responsive and accessible, Thomas is recognised for combining rigorous legal analysis with a pragmatic approach to each case.
Thomas says he is “delighted to be joining the Ydès team and to contribute actively to the firm’s growth through his expertise and experience.”
