Career

Guillaume has been practising in the fields of town and country planning law and environmental law for over 15 years.

He advises and litigates with builders, developers, investors and operators at all stages of their operations, particularly in relation to planning permission, the management of developments and land divisions, regulations governing establishments open to the public, environmental regulations and the management of polluted sites. He works in coordination with other specialist lawyers, and with partners in the project management and construction teams, to ensure that regulatory procedures and project management are properly coordinated.

He advises and defends economic players, including manufacturers, in matters of environmental law, regulations governing establishments open to the public, policing and administrative sanctions.

After working as an associate in leading public law firms, Guillaume headed up the public law department of a business law firm. He joined Ydès as Of Counsel in May 2024.

Guillaume is a referent for public law training at the Ecole des avocats la région Rhône-Alpes (EDARA). He is also a lecturer at Jean-Moulin Lyon 3 University, where he teaches at the Institute of Judicial Studies and at the Master 2 level in town planning law.
