Ydès is strengthening the multi service nature of its Paris office by creating a Tax Department with the arrival of André Loup as a partner on 2 January 2024. He joins 7 partners practising respectively in Development – Real Estate & Construction, Corporate – Mergers & Acquisitions, Digital Economy & Data and Employment Relations – Labour Law.
With almost 30 years’ experience in tax law, André Loup has a solid background in the taxation of SMEs and SMIs, wealth tax and property tax, both in France and internationally.
In 1997, he joined CMS Francis Lefebvre, where he specialised in direct taxation. He was seconded to the tax department of CMS Russia in 2009, before returning to the French firm in 2012.
He mainly assists managers and entrepreneurs, as well as their family groups, in optimising the organisation and management of their companies and assets, and assists and advises them in any tax audit or litigation procedures to which they may be subject.
André Loup is also a member of the Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux (IACF).
By joining Ydès, André becomes a key player in the firm’s growth and contributes to the development of its tax department, which already has 4 partners at its historic site in Lyon.
André says he is “delighted to be able to join an agile and dynamic firm such as Ydès and extend its multi-disciplinary offering to companies and investors in the Paris marketplace to include tax”.
Ydès – More than just law.
