Ydès strengthens the multidisciplinary nature of its Paris office by welcoming a new Real Estate team. Jean-Philippe Carpentier joined the firm as a partner on January 28, 2025, with Théophile Carpentier as Of Counsel.
They strengthen and add their skills to the Corporate – Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Tax, Digital Economy & Data and Labor & Employment teams.
Founder and managing partner of Carpentier Avocats since 1998, Jean-Philippe Carpentier advises and litigates on behalf of companies and their executives. He focuses on building each solution and strategy in partnership with them, so that their issues are at the heart of his solutions.
He favors a pragmatic, efficient approach to optimize the resolution of his French and international clients’ issues.
In addition, Jean-Philippe and his team have developed a cross-border practice, working on issues of Luxembourg and Swiss law, two countries which he is also a national of. They also work extensively in the French Overseas Departments and Territories (DOM-TOM).
Trained at the Neoma Business School (Rouen), Jean Philippe is fluent in German and English. He holds a certificate of specialization in corporate strategy from the HEC doctorate, a Master II in economics and a Master II in litigation law.
Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for Normandy since 2023, President of the Consular Corps in Normandie, regular news editor in the magazine Le Contemporain, Jean-Philippe is committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise.
By joining Ydès, Jean-Philippe becomes a stakeholder in the firm’s growth and contributes to the development of the Real Estate Law department.
