From October 16 to 19, Ydès had the pleasure of organizing the EMEA Regional Conference with The Law Firm Network.

It was a pleasure to welcome more than 25 delegates from over 20 different countries during this event.

The event program included a conference led by Ydès lawyers on topics : Strategy to Find Evidence in France for Domestic and International Litigation and Arbitration with Valérie Nicod, legal defense against cyber and reputational threats with Jean-Christophe Chevallier, hot topics under french Employment Law : Mediation and Internal Investigations with Harold Berrier and Chrystelle DAUB, the French tax burden with Frédéric Plottin and Laurence Bouchard, and key points in M&A transactions with Marc Chaudet.

We were also fortunate to welcome experts such as Fannie Bercez from Volvo Financial Services, who spoke on the topic of The Augmented Lawyer of Tomorrow Through AI – Expectations of In-House Counsel, and Nicolas JULLIAN from Inspirit Partners, who presented the World Mergers and Acquisitions Alliance (WMAA).

Participants also had the opportunity to discover the beauty of Lyon – the City of Lights and enjoy the superb food of Lyon and France through our various meals.

Three intense days allowed us to create new synergies and meet members of the network as well as observers interested in joining.
